Last night I attended Caged by Coveted Events, an evening of excitement and intrigue behind the bars of the iconic Fremantle prison. Sombrely lit adding to the eeriness of the prison walls, Lucy Peach entertained the mingling crowds sipping on champagne and eating freshly shucked oysters - I even tried one! The adjacent more brightly lit corridor hosted a pop-up tattoo exhibition with artworks and intricate illustrations lining the walls, I was particularly taken by surfboards and skateboards adorned by quirky designs. Whilst I was admiring the art I was charmed by all the amazing and diverse fashion around me so I had to do a bit of a style stalk! After a lot of chatting and art admiring guests were ushered into the main prison hall, seats were lined with goodie bags curtesy of Ainoha the lights then dimmed, the music reverberated and that uncanny feeling crept upon us until the models graced the floor in striking make-up and incredible designs by Wild Horses, Seth Cray and Rosie & Broken. A huge congratulations is in order for Coveted Events and Kelly Price, Caged was an absolute standout event and an experience rather than just a show!
