They say timing is everything, unfortunately for Constellations by the City of Vincent mine was very off! I had already accepted the invitation to cover Suszuq's launch but felt I really wanted to attend Constellations as well, so I decided to go to straight after work. The first thing I did was try catch the models in the shop windows, unfortunately at this stage only Blink 138 and Urban Records had live mannequins. I then decided to checkout the wonderful pop-up markets which featured emerging local designers, in photo order; Jimmy Buffalo the eclectic handcrafted menswear, the ever colourful Neon Pony, a local designer I have fallen in love with S&S for their bright colours, exotic prints and beautiful fabrics sourced in India and last but not least the quirky and fun hand painted La Mas Tees! I then quickly rushed off to attend Suszuq's and made my way back just in time - unfortunately - for the final designer Jewel Designs. Wish I could have caught more of the runway as it looked amazing, so a very big thank you and congratulations Annie and Emma for putting together this fantastic event!
With Perth Fashion Festival starting this week, timing will be key - need to work on that! <3 Nadine
