A another little style stalking sesh before the National Showcase saw me fall in love with the double Charlotte Olympia Lunatic - how amazing! Braving the rain we made our way through to Hackett Hall to view the National Showcase, reviewing the photos the overall trend was certainly prints - specifically animal prints! We Are Handsome opened the show and heated up the runway in wild animal imaged kaftans, printastic bikinis and vintage digitally printed one pieces - which I expect is going to be big this summer. True to their style, Gorman sent models down the runway in new season whimsical prints including their take on leopard prints and geometric shapes, key picks from the collection include the tie-dyed denim and the socks worn with sandals. Desert Designs closed the show with an explosion of colour, in lycra suits adorned in neon prints, colourful warrior face paint and my personal favourite the nomadic head scarf. I can't stop staring at the last photo, it reminds me so much of an Olympic win when an athlete proudly runs along with their country's flag - simply stunning!
I'm currently editing today's shows, so hopefully I'll get some sleep before my walk on the Restyle Runway! Don't forget to come down to Forrest Place at 12pm to watch the Restyle Bloggers, and come say hi! <3 Nadine
